Morici 5 string, 14.5" scale mandolin. Spruce top, curly claro walnut back and sides, maple neck,
ebony fretboard, ebony bridge, ebony/metal tailpiece, gold sealed tuners. $1500 obo
Condition: The instrument is in excellent condition. No signs of player wear. Action is low. There
are two very small, fine cracks in the finish. Each one isn't much more than a 1/4" and can't be
photographed they are so slight. Neck is rounded similar to a guitar than the V style of a
traditional mandolin. Excellent tone and plays well up and down the neck.
The very bottom photo shows a slight finish flaw that I tried capturing with an overhead lamp.
There is a little "fisheye" on the right side of the light reflection. The minor scratches/finish
cracks can't be photograpghed. They are incidental and have been on the instrument for years
without any issues. I'm sure they could be buffed out.
